Quitting tobacco can be difficult! There are many resources and tips that may help you or a loved one quit tobacco:
- Talk to your doctor about nicotine replacement therapy (NRT). NRT products contain low, controlled doses of nicotine to keep withdrawal and craving symptoms at bay. There are several options and ways you can combine the products. Some products include nicotine gum, lozenges, patches, inhalers, nose sprays, and medications. - Quit Now Kentucky is a tobacco quitline for people who live in Kentucky. They have a toll-free number you can call for help quitting smoking, vaping, dipping, or using other kinds of tobacco products. You can also access their website to sign up for services. You will get free support from a quit coach who may ask you some questions about your tobacco use. This helps them create a plan that will assist you on your quit journey. The program may also be able to provide FREE nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) such as nicotine gum, the patch, or other medication to help aid your quit. If you have any questions about NRT, Quit Now Kentucky coaches are equipped to answer any questions or talk to your doctor for more information.

- Youth can use My Life, My Quit which is a free and confidential service for teens who want help quitting all forms of tobacco including vaping. Trained coaches help teens to develop a quit plan, identify triggers for tobacco use, practice refusal skills, and support teens to change behaviors. Teens are able to call, text, or online chat with coaches.
