Marshall County Health Department Performance Management

The Public Health Foundation defines Performance Management (PM) as ‘a systematic process which helps an organization achieve its mission and strategic goals by improving effectiveness, empowering employees, and streamlining decision making.

At MCHD every department has established PM standards/goals and is actively working toward improving departmental performance. In alignment with our current Strategic Plan, each department will work on improving external communication with the client base they serve. MCHD has a adopted a PM plan which includes the PM System Framework with foundational components of Performance Standards, Performance Measurement, Reporting Progress and Quality Improvement (QI).

The Agency Performance Committee (APC) oversees Agency Performance efforts at MCHD. Shay Glover is the Agency Performance Coordinator.
