Marshall County School Health

The Marshal County Health Department provides preventative Health Services within the Marshall County School System. Currently, we operate three school health clinics within 3 of our county’s elementary schools. Each clinic is staffed with a registered nurse accompanied by a shared clerical staff person. A fourth registered nurse, currently housed at one of the middle schools, provides various health services throughout other schools within the district.

Services include:

  • Physicals for school entry

  • Immunizations-(insurance applicable)

  • Diabetes care and medication administration within our clinics

  • Acute illness assessment and referral

  • Routine first aid care

  • Health Education-including puberty classes, health/hygiene issues, and Team Ultra
