The Marshall County Health Department is accepting applications for a Part Time Family Nurse Practitioner. 


General Duties include Compiling data for periodic assessment of the client’s physical condition.  Evaluating the effectiveness of health care procedures, approaches and programs in conjunction with other members of the nursing care team.  Will evaluate assessment data and develop a nursing care plan to incorporate into the client’s medical record. Will periodically update plan of care based on follow-up visits and services provided, with the compliance of the client. Will provide clients with appropriate preventive or problem-focused care according to the client’s needs, which may include evaluation & management services and/or diagnosis & treatment according to the practitioner’s scope of practice. Will provide health screening & health education/counseling based on age & gender at appropriate times that a client may need or request for a known or suspected health problem.


Minimum Education, Training or Experience:  Current active registered nurse license from the Kentucky Board of Nursing; and current active Advanced Registered Nurse Practice license from the Kentucky Board of Nursing having met all requirements of 201 KAR 20:056.


Compensation and Hours:  Contract position/ Part- Time / 8 Hours per week / Variable Hours / Pay negotiable pending qualifications and experience.
