Marshall County Health Department Performance Management
The Public Health Foundation defines Performance Management (PM) as ‘a systematic process which helps an organization achieve its mission and strategic goals by improving effectiveness, empowering employees, and streamlining decision making.
At MCHD every department has established PM standards/goals and is actively working toward improving departmental performance. In alignment with our current Strategic Plan, each department will work on improving external communication with the client base they serve. MCHD has a adopted a PM plan which includes the PM System Framework with foundational components of Performance Standards, Performance Measurement, Reporting Progress and Quality Improvement (QI).
The Quality Improvement Committee (QIC) oversees PM efforts at MCHD. Wendy Rose is the QI/PM Coordinator.
